John Watts

Mr. Watts has been a Senior Advisor to Kormendi \ Gardner Partners since its inception and has participated in several high-profile engagements including most recently leading the valuation team for KGP’s advisory engagement to the Department of Veterans Affairs to evaluate the suitability of various VA Medical Center Campuses for privatized commercial and residential projects and to estimate their value in privatized uses. He also advised KGP on project direction and valuation for the pilot U.S. Air Force privatization project of military family housing at Kirtland AFB.

Mr. Watts provides Kormendi \ Gardner Partners with advisory and management services for commercial and residential real estate projects, drawing from over 25 years of experience and having acquired, managed, sold or financed property totaling over seven billion dollars in value. Mr. Watts has expertise in asset management, value recovery, and transactional structuring. As a senior officer of a major investment bank in New York, he controlled a portfolio of 48 partnerships and REITs, which included 28,000 residential units and over 15,000,000 square feet of commercial properties, and directed advisory for client projects involving over $5 billion of assets. He has also directed pricing determination for large mortgage and property portfolios in Europe and China.

Mr. Watts is currently the President of Artemis Partners, Inc. which provides advisory and asset management services to real estate and financial enterprises.

Mr. Watts earned a B.A., a Bachelor of Architecture, and an M.B.A. from the University of Arkansas.
